Awards & HonorsEun Suk Seo, Professor, received the NASA Group Achievement Award for flying a record-breaking balloon near the edge of space. The balloon, which was the size of nearly one and one-half football fields, made three orbits around the South Pole in 42 days. This broke the flight record for duration and distance. Her efforts are part of the Cosmic Ray Energetic's and Mass (CREAM) project. |
