Commencement

The University of Maryland held its Winter Commencement Ceremony on December 21^st at 7:00 PM in the Comcast Center . The Doctoral, Master's and Bachelor's Degrees were conferred by
President C. D. Mote, Jr. In addition, the Class of 2005 presented their Senior Class Gift of a custom-made University of Maryland-style clock.

The College of Computer, Mathematical and Physical Sciences honored their graduates with an additional ceremony held on December 22^nd at 10:00 AM in the Dekelboum Concert Hall of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. The guest speaker was, Distinguished University Professor and Nobel Laureate, William D. Phillips.
