The individual grades are not on a curve, but the Final grades are corrected for part II having a maximum of 78 points, and the homework average includes the promised dropped lower grades. Also, since questions 11-20 on the Final did not have unique answers the scantron sheets were checked by hand.

What the letter grades mean: These are conservative estimates (+ and - will be added later). If you have, for example, a B, you can be quite certain that your final grade will be (at least) a B. If you have a grade like B/A, it means you are on the borderline, you will probably get an A unless you goofed on the written part or did not hand in homework 11 and 12. If you have A/B, you will get an A unless you worked hard to spoil your grade by doing something really stupid. (Those that have just A will get it in spite of displaying maximum stupidity on work I have not seen yet ...)
HOWEVER a number of you cannot have their grades submitted because you copied but did not sign the pledge, or did not write your name at all, or illegibly, etc. The following people should contact me as soon as possible to correct the deficiency:
We will grade the written part tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, chances are that the final grades will be submitted by the end of the working day Friday, so if there are any mistakes in your grade record (at least ones whose correction would be in your favor :) let me know ASAP.
