Welcome to Xuedong Hu's Homepage!
I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Physics Department
at the University of Maryland College Park. My specialty is theoretical
solid state physics. My current research focuses on the study of feasibility
of spin-based solid state quantum computers.
Aside from doing research here at UMCP, I love all the fun stuffs happening
around me. Soccer is one of my favorite sports, which also include skiing,
badminton, hiking, etc. I also love travelling, reading novels, and watching
sports on TV when I have time. I try to keep in contact with old friends and
