Vortex dynamics in clean superconductors
Nikolai Kopnin
(Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics, Moscow and Argonne National
Laboratory)
Abstract: Vortex dynamics in clean superconductors is determined
by localized excitations in the vortex core. Kinetics of these excitations
for s- and d-wave superconductors is studied on the basis
of microscopic theory of superconductivity. The forces acting on a moving
vortex , the vortex mass, and the longitudinal and Hall conductivities
are calculated. Microwave resonances on vortex-core states are discussed.
