Das Sarma Wins Kirwan Faculty Research Prize

Sankar Das Sarma, Distinguished University Professor, has been awarded the 2008 Kirwan Faculty Research Prize. The university-wide honor recognizes a faculty member for a highly significant work of research, scholarship or artistic creativity within the faculty member's academic discipline.

Professor Das Sarma is being recognized for his recent accomplishments in the field of Quantum Information, specifically for his, internationally recognized, groundbreaking work in quantum computing.
