Homework consists
of 2 parts.
- One section is to be done online in
the MasteringPhysics (MP) environment. These are
four MP problems as warm-up. These are worth 1 point each and you can do
them as many times as you want until you get them right.
- The second part this week
is not to be handed in. Since we are having an exam on Friday, it
consists of a series of sample exam problems taken from previous exams in my
121 class. My exams have a standard structure. They consist of
- One multiple choce problem (25-30 points)
- Two long problems (20-25 points each)
- One estimation problem (15 points)
- One essay question.
Remember! These will not be problems you have seen before, but will be problems
that use the same principles, tools, and skills from problems you have seen before.
I will expect you to think on the exam!
The MP homework is due on Wednesday,
10/5, at 10 AM.
