Logging On to WebAssign

• Username
  University Directory ID.  Case-insensitive.
• Institution
  umd
• Password
  UID number.  9-digit University ID number (not your Social Security Number).  I suggest you change your password once you log on.

Access Codes

You access code should begin with the prefix "Serway-S".  The bookstore has been selling other access codes without this prefix and they will not work for this class.  The safest thing to do would be to either:

• Buy a bundled text book with the access code
• Purchase the access code on-line
