Dr. Becker is Looking for Undergraduate Students for the RISE Program
Dr. Melanie Becker, assistant professor of physics, is looking for 4-5 undergraduate female students to do research in string theory over the summer (for 10 weeks). Students accepted into the program will get paid a salary of $4,500, funded by the National Science Foundation.
Eligible students must be US citizens if they come from another university but they can be non US if they come from Maryland.
This is a great opportunity for undergraduates to get involved in cutting edge research.
