PNCE Calendar Docs: Groups
PNCE Calendar Application Documentation
Listing of Groups Defined in Application
The PNCE Calendar Application uses group membership to control the
editting, copying, and deleting of seminar events. These memberships
are defined in the /group/phys-admin/project/Calendar/data/users.txt file and in the event files. We list them here for clarity (although
note the other sources are definitive).
At the time of this writing, the groups defined in the
users.txt file are:
- AMO: the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics Group
- BIO: the Biophysics Group
- CHAIR: the Chair's Office staff
- CHAOS: the Non-Linear Dynamics/Chaos Group
- CHEM: the Chemical Physics Group
- CONDMAT: the Condensed Matter Group
- COSMIC: the Particle Astrophysics/Cosmic Ray Group
- ENP: the Experimental Nuclear Physics Group
- EP: the Elementary Particles Group
- GRT: the Gravitational Theory Group
- HEP: the High Energy Physics Group
- IPST: the Institute for Physical Sciences and Technology
- IREAP: the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics
- JQI: the Joint Quantum Institute
- LPS: the Laboratory for Physical Science
- MATH: the Math Department
- NASA: NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
- PERG: the Physics Education Research Group
- PLASMA: the Plasma Physics Group
- SPACE: the Space Physics Group
- TQHN: the Theory of Quarks, Hadrons, and Nuclei Group
